Life Skills - Cooking Vocabulary - Cooking Tools Task Cards - Recipe - Food Prep

In this set of PRINTABLE TASK CARDS, students get to practice identifying which kitchen tool to use for a given task. In level one, students will be given specific cooking scenarios and then will be asked to select which kitchen tool would be the best tool to use for this task from a field of three visual choices. A total of 30 cooking scenarios are included in this level. For level two, students will be shown a randomly selected kitchen tool and then asked to (1) state its name and (2) describe a scenario on when it could be used. A total of 30 prompts are provided for this level as well.

Cooking is an important life skill and one that many students have difficulty mastering. With these task cards, students can practice learning important kitchen vocabulary in a highly visual and structured manner to foster a deeper understanding of the material.
