Help your students practice their real world reading and math skills with these DIGITAL LIFE SKILLS task cards! In this activity, students will take a look at different pay stub questions. A total of two DIFFERENTIATED versions are included with your purchase as well. Level A includes word problems where students can select the correct answer from a field of four multiple choice answers. Level B includes the same questions, but this time students are asked to calculate the correct answer by filling in a scaffolded chart activity.
This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. With this lesson, students are able to drag and drop images into their correct locations. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer.
A total of FORTY EIGHT task cards are included with your purchase (24 Level A task cards and 24 Level B task cards). The task cards will fit in 4 x 6 containers for easy storage.
