Life Skills Reading and Writing: Using Google Maps, Unit 1

Teaching students how to use technology like Google Maps is an increasingly important skill for kids these days to be able to master. Technology has come a long way, and with many phones coming pre-loaded with apps like Google Maps on them, students need to be comfortable to be able to use them independently!

This lesson teaches students about the basic features of Google Maps in a simple and visual way. Students are then given a chance to pull meaningful information from randomly selected U.S. landmarks.
